Getting to this magical place is quite simple and totally part of the fun! From JR Nagoya Station, hop on the Sakuradori subway line and ride to Sakurayama Station. Once you arrive, take Exit 4, and prepare for a scenic 13-minute walk eastward. You’ll be greeted by the gorgeous sight of the Yamazaki River, and as you walk along the river, the cherry blossom viewing path stretches south on both sides. Don’t forget your camera; you’ll want to capture every moment!

Admission here is free, and the park is conveniently located just minutes from Tsurumai Station.

The East Gate is easily accessible from Shiyakusho Station on the Meijo subway line. However, do note that there is an admission fee to enter the castle grounds, but the view is absolutely worth it!
- Nagoya Peace Park: Known as Heiwa Koen, this park features a lovely section of cherry blossoms that will make your heart smile. Admission is free, and the park is approximately a 20-minute walk from Higashiyama Koen Station on the Higashiyama line. It’s a serene spot to relax and soak in the beauty of the blossoms.
- Inuyama Castle: Just 45 minutes north of Nagoya, Inuyama Castle is home to hundreds of cherry blossom trees. There’s an admission fee, but if you visit during the first weekend in April, you’ll be in for a treat at the Cherry Blossom Festival! It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy local culture and festivities while surrounded by the beauty of the blossoms.
